Harvia Sauna Stones 20 kg – 10–15 cm

The stones are a working part of every traditional sauna heater. This 20 kg box from Harvia contains large olivine diabase stones selected for their durability and ability to store heat. When arranged correctly, they create open air channels through the heater and provide a broad hot surface for water, producing the familiar burst of steam known as löyly.

The 10–15 cm size is intended for compatible large electric heaters and wood-burning sauna stoves. It is not suitable for every compact wall-mounted heater, so check the heater manual and required stone size before ordering. Natural variation in shape and colour is normal. Stones should be inspected periodically and replaced when they begin to crack or crumble.

Care and use

Rinse loose dust from the stones before loading the heater. Arrange them loosely rather than forcing them into place, and follow the heater manufacturer’s stone-loading instructions. Inspect the stack regularly, remove fragments and restack or replace worn stones as required.
